NorthStar Summer School

Purple Loosestrife is an invasive species that grows near many waterways in our area.  On July 10th, 3 students (Ali, Thomas, Kylee) and myself helped Lorna Wilson place beetles in areas around the Gordon Flowage where loosestrife is growing.  The hope is that the beetles will eat and kill the purple loosestrife plants in the area.
